Wedding Celebrant Costs

The cost of hiring me can vary depending on several factors, including:

• Location: Travel distance and venue accessibility can affect pricing.
  
  

• Level of Personalisation: Fully bespoke ceremonies requiring significant planning and input may incur higher fees.
  
  

• Rehearsals: Adding a rehearsal before the big day will usually increase the overall cost.
  
  

• Additional Services: Support with vow writing, providing a PA system, or special elements can add to the price.
  
  

• Season & Day: Peak times such as summer weekends may be priced higher than off-peak dates.
  
  

• Average Cost:
  Wedding ceremonies typically range between £550–£650.

Baby Naming Ceremonies – from £275

Celebrate the arrival of your little one with a beautiful, personalised naming ceremony.

Pricing:
The cost typically ranges between £275–£300, depending on the date, location, and venue.
Siblings can be included at no extra cost. Additional family members may incur a small supplementary charge.

Booking & Payment:
A £125 deposit is required upon confirmation to secure your date, with the remaining balance due in the week of the ceremony.

Travel:
Travel beyond 50 miles from my base may incur a small additional charge to cover fuel costs.

Vow Renewal Ceremonies – from £500

Reaffirm your love and commitment with a bespoke vow renewal ceremony designed just for you.

What’s included:

• An initial consultation with you both
  
  

• A personalised ceremony questionnaire
  
  

• Ongoing contact via phone, Zoom, or text in the lead-up
  
  

• A beautifully delivered ceremony on your special day
  
  

• A keepsake copy of your script and/or a commemorative certificate
  
  

Pricing:
Fees start from £500, depending on the type of ceremony, time of year, and location 

Important Considerations

Legalities:
Please note that in England and Wales, celebrants are not authorised to legally marry couples. You’ll need to register your marriage with a local registrar (currently around £46, plus £11 for the certificate).

Booking & Payments

• A non-refundable booking fee of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
  
  

• The remaining balance is due 30 days before your ceremony.
  
  

• Your date is confirmed once the booking fee is received.
  
  

• All payments are non-refundable.
  
  

Additional Costs

Some optional elements, such as a unity candle or other symbolic rituals, may have a small extra cost. These will always be discussed with you in advance.

Book early! Celebrants often get booked up months (or even years) in advance, especially for popular summer dates. Early booking helps you secure your preferred date and rate.
